My name is Paula and I have always had a love of wool work and needlework and recently
found a love of creating bears, dolls, soft toys, and quirky pin cushions.
I had never thought I would sell my creations, and this was a hobby until I was asked to
make a few memory bears and encouraged to make a small business doing it.
I made myself a memory bear from my own wedding dress and the artificial flower I wore in
my hair. I put the page boy’s tie into the stuffing! What was the point in it being in my loft
where no one could see it. She now sits in my craft room watching me create bears for
other people to remember loved ones, whether they are friends, relatives, or pets.
I create all different types of bears as well as collectible animal dolls.
I make funky little pin cushions and other soft cuddlees.
All my creations can be made in any colour or style you want.
All my creations are made with real glass eyes and, therefore, are not suitable for young
children.
My business is very much a “make to order.”
