I am a small business owner myself, I started Just Sew By Nicki over 10 years ago.  

When the shop I rented a shelf in, in town, closed, it was a big blow to me and many other small businesses that rented shelves. So when the opportunity to rent a small pop up shop on Gaol Lane came available I had to take up the opportunity. My partner and I came up with the name Just Creations to tie in my own business name.

As for many small businesses it is almost impossible to rent a shop on the high street due to the cost. So by renting out shelves in the shop to other micro businesses, we share the cost of the rent. 

We support each other through giving advise and promoting each other.

After 6 months the pop shop became to small, the demand for the shelf rental was increasing and so we needed more space. We moved over to number 48 Gaol Lane on the 1st March 2023.

We now have a minimum of 20 UK businesses under one roof. A majority of the businesses in store are handmade too. We now have room to hold Cuppa and Crafts mornings, Art classes and bookable crafts.
